To Keita Asari, Shyrock does not appear to be a villain. "By empowering the psychology and emotions of a modern person in the classic theatrical theater, Shyrock emerges as an exciting protagonist, whose role is so thrilling and forbidden within the classical theatrical setting, akin to Sherlock's folk-like persona."

The white base and transparent stage device will beautifully float in Venice, amidst the simple yet captivating beauty. The human drama that unfolds encompasses a complex intertwining of various existing problems, such as race, discrimination, and religion.

The story follows Antonio, a kind and sincere Venetian merchant, who takes on an expensive debt to the high-interest lender, Shyrock, in order to help his best friend, Basanio, court Portia, a wealthy heiress. Shyrock, displeased by the daily commerce, imposes an unexpected condition – the forfeiture of a pound of Antonio's flesh if the loan is not repaid on time.

Basanio travels to Belmont to woo Portia, and in order to marry her, he must solve the "mystery of the box," which was the last test devised by Portia's father. Amidst numerous rivals, Basanio solves the mystery, wins Portia's love, and inherits a substantial fortune.

Meanwhile, Shyrock's daughter, Jessica, falls in love with Lorenzo, one of Antonio's friends. The intricate web of relationships and the high-stakes drama that unfolds against the backdrop of Venice's merchant class and their complex social dynamics make this production a captivating and thought-provoking experience.

Keita Asari's portrayal of Shyrock, in particular, has been lauded for its nuance and depth, challenging the traditional perception of the character as a simple villain.
