Established on July 14, 1953, the "Four Season" drama series is the world's largest, with over 3,000 stages performed annually. The "Ricoran" musical, the "Exotic Hill" musical, and the "Southern Crusade" musical have been continuously performed since 2008, commemorating the 55th anniversary of the founding of Keita Asatsu. These musicals explore the tragedy of Showa history, the full commander, and the celebration of the tragedy.

The "Ricoran" musical was first released in 1991 and has since been performed in four cities in China (Beijing, Changchun, Shenyang, and Dalian) as a 20th-anniversary celebration during the restoration of Japan-China relations in 1992. The "Ricoran" musical has been performed a total of 828 times, with approximately 760,000 audience members. The story follows a Japanese woman who becomes a star in China, known as the "Chinese diva Rikoranz." The musical explores the background of the "daytime war" and "Manchuria," which were used for Japanese military promotions, and depicts the life of a real-life diva who was tried in a Chinese court for the "Grandland rebellion."

The cast features Reiko Nomura as Ricoran and Megumi Ikada as Yoshiko Kawajima, among others. The musical is presented in a 16:9 screen size with Japanese subtitles that can be turned on or off. It is a production of the SHIKI THEATER COMPANY.
